Medical Assistant Schools in Michigan

The medical assistant career field is one of the most exciting of our time. Even when many career fields are faltering, medical assistants across the country enjoy a wealth of job opportunities. The first step any aspiring medical assistant must take is to get a quality education. Michigan has a wealth of programs that offer medical assistant training at every level from certificate to associate’s degree. If you plan to become certified, make sure you choose a program that is accredited through either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). In order to be eligible for the certification examination, students must complete a training program that has one of these accreditations. While certification is not required, it can definitely increase job opportunities and earning potential.
